Bonus: Saturn's Current Position Over Earth

This bonus view is provided so you can determine if Saturn currently may be visible from your location on Earth.  Of course, Saturn can generally be seen only at night, though it may be visible in very clear skies for a few minutes before sunset or after sunrise when the planet is at its brightest.  The view above lets you glean Saturn's direction from your location.  If your location is visible on the above globe, then the closer it is to the view's center, the higher Saturn will be in "your" sky.

Simulator Image Notes:  1) Fields of View are measured horizontally.  2) Top orbital view orientation: Ecliptic north "upward", i.e. in
the 12:00 midnight direction.  3) Saturn's two "surface" (cloud-top) views' (next two) orientation: planetary local north "upward".  4) Saturn's major moon views' (bottom three) orientation: Ecliptic north "upward".  5) Eclipse shadows of planetary moons are not displayed.  6) Light-Travel Time is not included in calculated times.
